Great stuff here. I've just gotten into some MMA style training myself. The occasional minor injury has me slacking on it a bit to keep me healthy for lifting, but I love the conditioning it provides.

Personal tips that I've learned along my still short journey:

Leave your ego at the door.
Prepare. Showing up dehydrated, hungry, and tired will guarantee failure.
Be ready to fight for that grinder of a PR.
Listen and learn. Absorb everything you can, and assimilate that knowledge.

Top Gym lifts:
Squat: 415lbs
Deads: 440lbs
Bench: 315lbs

Had good mma training session yesterday, left me fairly sore today.

was scheduled to do work out A today, but I have to temporarily use my home gym for storage.

I just joined this gym Low cost Super gyms - Flye Fit (seems OK, at least they have two squat racks & cage) going to resume with Work out A tomorrow.
I'm a gym virgin, never trained at a gym before.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys.

Today's training

Dead-lift
Warm up
40kg x8
50kg x8

Main sets
80kg x 3
80kg x 3
80kg x 3

Standing Overhead press
(switched from seated, I had to do a seated at home because my home gym hadn't got a high ceiling

Warm up
20kg x10
30kg x6

Main sets (failed to achieve 3x 8 again)
35kg x8
35kg x7
35kg x7

Barbell Row
Warm up
20kg x10
30kgx8

Main sets (failed to make 2 x8)
45kg x7
45kg x7

Incline DB press
15kg x8
15kg x8

ran out of time to do curls, had to head to work, the gym is very close to to my job, so I complete them later and do some mobility work.

Having issues with my shoulder, one seems to sit higher on my body & my arms appear to be different lengths - I think its from years of working on a computer.

I'm going to need to do a lot of work to try and correct this.

yeah I like it too. I started out with seated OH because my man shack at home hadn't got a high enough ceiling to stand and press.

I was cleaning the bar to my chest, then sitting on the bench - then pressing, very awkward.
