I thinks its structured really well.

i had fun on that programe made some decent gains on it too.

Interesting log, have always been interested in martial arts/combat sports but haven't done much about it. Be good to see how you get on with the combination of strength program + MMA/Kickboxing.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hopefully I will do well this time. In the past I did SL 5x5 with kickboxing, After a few months it was hell for my legs from squats every session.
But I like the alternating squat day/deadlift day in the current program.

I did fairly well with both MA SL 5X5, but I think it was nooby gains

Is there any art you like in particular? or mixed?

yesterdays lifting
Decent workout, but no progress with my overhead press

gained 3lbs over the last week and half or so. probably a mix of water/fat and hopefully a bit of muscle.

last time I weighed myself I was at 160 - 161lbs, current weight is between 163 -164lbs
Previously I had stayed steady at 160 for a month or so on about 2400 cals.

been eating 2700cals a the last week
180grams of protein, 100grams of fat, the rest made of carbs.
