Thanks fella! I'm hoping for much more in the next few weeks. Ideally want to add around 15kg to each lift on this day in the same rep range before the euros. Could be doable as I've done that before, but at a higher bodyweight.

Good session today. Was absolutely frozen though. And was in my singlet which made it worse.
Stiff leg deadlift
60kg 5
100kg 5
150kg 3
200kg 8
200kg 6
not bad at all, target hit anyway.

deadstop squats to pin 4.
120kg 5
120kg 5
120kg 5
for these I dropped down, released the weight onto the pins, took a 5 count, then drove back up at speed. The depth was brutal, my ass was pretty much on the floor with these. Should give me plenty of drive out of the bottom of my squat. And a bit of extra control just in case I overshoot depth a little in comp.
Did a load of various core work, including some rollouts on this little wheel thing which were actually quite hard.

finished with hammer curls
35s 12 ( first 7-8 were strict the rest were cheated a little bit but not too much. Haven't done these in ages and my strength is down on them. I remember when I actually trained these I did 50kg dumbells for sets of 6 with a slight cheat at the top of each rep.
Happy with the day's training. Everything feel good. Just 3 weeks of training left now.

Cheers fella! I plan to keep going at full bore until the euros are done. I'll either come out with a good total, like I know I can, or completely break myself trying.

Good, very tough session today. Had to go take a little lie down midway through as my lower back was feeling very tired.

Deadlift
60kg 5
100kg 5
150kg 2
200kg 1
220kg 1
240kg 3
240kg 1 and about 3 quarters
Odd, my sticking point has moved in a week it seems. Got this to within about 2 inches max of locking out but couldnt quite finish it. May have been able to with more time, but didn't want to keep grinding with a whole session ahead of me.
First rep at 240 felt like a warm up today. Very smooth for the entire first set to be fair. Definite strength increase I think. Tech much, much better than it was. Loving my new super narrow stance. Could be the key to moving big weights for me
Speed deadlift
190kg 5
190kg 5
190kg 5
very fast. Last set I was feeling it a bit but still fast and had another 5-6 reps in me at ease. up to 200 next week though at high speed.
rack pull from pin 13
240kg 6 (fucking rough, this height is roughly my old sticking point up and is a bitch to break from the pins)
200kg 6 ( focusing on lower back)

yates row
135kg 6
135kg 4 ( too tired at this point)
110kg 8

ez bar curl
65kg 10
65kg 8
sin e. Happy enough with that. Hopefully I'm on track for a 265-275 dead at the euros.

A 600lb pull at the Euro's sounds good to me Tom,
Big session there,
I also found out a few weeks ago that I prefer a narrow stance, that said I'm not moving the kinda weight you are

That's the plan anyway. Nail my second attempt for a good total then go all out to pull 600lbs on the third attempt. I love the narrow stance. I have long arms so may as well make full use of them and bend down as little as possible I figure. You'll get your deads up quickly man. They aren't that far behind mine considering I'm 10-12 kg heavier.

Good session tonight considering I trained deadlift and rows yesterday and was in bits. Was missing my usual spotter too.
Paused bench press
60kg 10
100kg 5
120kg 1
140kg 2 Crap. Needed a third rep but it wasn't there tonight. Tech was off though. Felt wrong but powerful which is ridiculous. more like bullying the bar up on rep 2 than pressing.
130kg 3
130kg 3
easy. Last set was very fast as I got my line just right again after losing it.
paused speed bench with a 10 count pause on the chest
105kg 5
105kg 5
105kg 5
very fast. The long pause actually felt grand but my chest got pumped to hell after these. Should be good for power out of the bottom. ( no jokes) Tech felt great again, and weird how comfortable I was with this weight on my chest for so long. Felt like nothing. 115-120 for these next week for shits and giggles I think.

Seated lateral raise
20s 10
20s 8
20s 6

Had to wait around for another spotter as the gym was so quiet.
paused slingshot bench press
145kg 6
145kg 6
145kg 6
took a nice long pause on these and drove them hard. Felt great and smooth, even after all the other work beforehand.

Overall not a bad night. I will blame yesterday's session for the lack of strength on the paused bench press triples. Confident that that 160 in comp is achievable for me in 3 weeks time. I just need to make sure my tech is perfect as I think the strength is there. Essentially all the puzzle pieces are there, I just need to put them in the right order on the day.
