Default Lifting things and related tomfoolery

Hey. I'm new here, just found this site yesterday and very much like the set up. I decided I will start keeping a training journal here, in addition to my other online journal to help keep my motivation level up and make me feel more accountable and stop slacking off. I am currently getting ready for the WDFPF european championships which are in 5 weeks time. I'm very driven to do well there after a disastrous showing at the IDFPA nationals, making only 4 out of nine lifts and totalling way, way lower than I have in the gym and nowhere near my goal. This was due to a lack of focus on the day, and making some technical errors which then psyched me out. So as of this week I'm going to get back my focus, keep my diet in line and work on hitting all my lifts, to perfect comp standards and getting my confidence up. The eventual goal being to hit, my goal total from the nationals at the Euros and restore some pride. I will be using a training program I designed myself, one which has given me big gains in the past, last year taking me from a gym total of 540 to 600kg in 3 months. Any input or encouragement is gratefully received and I look forward to logging here.
