Hvane tposted because I havent trained. Looking at the big picture of my goals and where Im at I needed to take a week off and focus on building back up. Im going to start back Wednesday with some light stuff and train raw for 12 weeks then start a 12 week meet cycle. Over the past two-three years Ive been in meet training mode. After the 2012 Ironman I took not time off and went in to training for APf Seniors then straight into the pro am, then I was looking at WPC worlds but got hurt, then its been trying to find a meet. In all this time Ive let some things go that I should be focusing on. My raw squat in training for the ironman was close 700lbs and its no where near that. I remember at one point warming up to around 600lbs in nothing but a belt. I was also allot stronger all around in the squat. The bench session last week was a wake up. I need to build back up and get some weight back on. Look out for allot of volume. The rest of this week will be again just some pump up work but Im starting to feel the urge to get back into things full bore. It kills me to think it will be 6-8 months before I do finally hit the platform but when something less than an opener is moving like a third attempt then obviously I need to back away and come back.
