I think they will also help mentally as it looks like it takes alot of focus to pause them. I reckon it is similar to doing rack pulls eh?

I would say they're similar, but the weight is obviously limited compared to a rack pull. That being said, I hate rack pulls and love these, as the movement actually stays the same.

Jeez, thanks man. Quite the motivation to lift hard and live up to that thought.

Hmm, all this talk about pause at the knee deadlifts and I might have just decided to switch it up a bit:

I may start pausing them as soon as I break off the floor, as that's where I tend to be weak. Although last meet I was weak at lock out. So hard to judge. Probably why full range of motions lifts are so much better...
