[QUOTE=LindenGarcia18;365255]Thank you Lee. I'll start over.

But I have to say I've never completely dismissed anybody's advice on here. As I showed everybody before, I write down everything you tell me.
I just found it hard to get everything how it should be, regardless of how concise your advice was, naturally there were somethings I did wrong and forgot.[/QUOTE

you did, look back through your log and read the conversations you was haveing with me and off road about progression and the advice off road gave you about useing a 12 rep set and how to use progression then look at your last two workouts, now tell me you listend to what was said.

my last bit of advice,

pick a fullbody routine from the MAB forum and ask for help to pick one if needed and start very light with it then run into the ground with out stalling, if want this bad enough you will do it, it is hard work not every workout will be brillent and it takes time, a lot of the guys on here what go in to the gym and smash big weights and make it look easy have been training for years and they also started out useing light weights and build it up with time, as for the eating just eat a balanced healthish diet with plenty of proteins and veg and fruit and some carbs like pasta and potatoes and if you fancy a burger or a pizza and some ice cream eat some, when hungery go and eat, KEEP IT SIMPLE.

But the only bit I didn't follow was the rep scheme because it was too much of a jump and I couldn't figure out what weights to go with, so I just did 5x5, seen as I was told before that reps are just tools.
I dropped the weight like you said, and used weighted bags of bolts to progress slowly, like you said

I will.

yes reps are just tools that is why 12 reps was recomened the higher reps will give you more practice with each exercise ingraining better form and muscle memory, you are going to benefit more from reps ATM.

BENCH PRESS - 5X5 - 47.5KG
BENT OVER ROWS - 5X5 - 47.5KG
FRONT SQUATS - 3X8 - 30KG
PULL-UPS - 3X8 - BODY WEIGHT.

First time back to the gym in 4 days since I got all depressed about it.
Was rearing and ready to go, had more energy than I've had in a while.
Dropped the weight down to get 12 reps, but again I couldn't find the right amount, tried at 8 and still no joy, couldn't really get the hang of it.

Put a bit more on the bar and went for 5 reps like I usually do. The weight has been knocked down considerably, and although tough it was a good starting point of which I can now start progressing slowly.
I've now made 8 bags of 1lb increments to do so like it was suggested, so there's really no way I can stall again now (I hope)
Even though I'm doing 5x5 for most things you might have noticed I've added pull-ups with relatively high reps for the extra rep work you all say I need.
When to use those extra 1lb weights is the question though. I'll have to gauge weather I think I could up the weight by 2lbs next workout, or weather I should stay with the same weight I used today until I start being able to hit higher reps with it.

Quite clearly from recent experiences I need to do this sllloowwwly, and hopefully I'll be OK.

Thanks for the support and motivation as usual. I know I'm a sad case haha

It's easy to lose track of the most important things sometimes - happens to everyone.

Anyway, good to see you're back to the lifting.

Keep pushing onward, makin' dem gains.
