12-13-14%. Maybe even 10%. Add 30 pounds of muscle and you will be 10% and look 10%.

Wait, Ill lower bodyfat by building muscle?

No -BTB is sayiing that if you add muscle and keep your total amount of bodyfat the same, then your bodyfat percentage will go down.

For example, if you are 130lbs and 13% BF, you carry 16.9 lbs of fat.

If you gain 30 lbs of muscle (making you 160lbs) and you STILL have 16.9 lbs fat, your BF percentage will be 16.9/160 * 100 = 10.5%.

Or maybe that was what 5k was saying when she mentioned recomp.

Usually some fat does come along for the ride while gaining size, but you can keep it to a minimum with control of your diet and making adjustments to it as necessary.

not really, by adjusting your overall calorie in take. You dont have to stick to a strict bodybuilding diet 24/7, you are very thin why do you worry about gaining a bit of fat ? you could probley eat anything and everything at your weight and age, some dirty food as some people call it wont hurt you in fact will probley help you gain and it will give a bit of sainity, enjoy.

I personally eat clean, mainly due to my diet restrictions such as Celiac and auto immune disease, but I think pretty much everyone here enjoys a "dirty" meal or even day, or even weekend! I think Big Swede is planning a dirty weekend haha.

BTW - clean to me means eating food in its most natural state. It's quite often an overused type of "buzzword".

Yeah thats a good point.
I kind of thought though I was skinny fat to some extent.
I don't know exactly what my body fat is, but I thought it was quite high. BtB did some estimates above.
Even though I'm skinny and at a low weight, I can't see my abs.
Not that I'm bothered about that at the moment, but doesn't that tell me that my body fat is a little high compared to my weight?

I did think then however that it might be because my abs aren't developed and don't have any mass on them, maybe thats why I can't really see them.
