YESTERDAYS WORKOUT


Intense workout yesterday, felt good although incredibly drining at the same time, was very tired afterward.

Heres what I did.


MILITARY PRESS - 17.5KG - 5x5
DEAD LIFT - 65KG - 5x6
DIPS - BODY WEIGHT + 15KG - 5x7
ONE ARM DUMBBELL ROWS - 20KG - 5x7


So I dropped the weight right down. Allowed me to get around 7 reps on average for each set on each exercise.
Again I tried to go with a weight for 12 reps but I didn't feel as though I was really working my muscles and getting the most out of my workout, so I compromised and went a little higher, but not so much that it felt too easy.

The lower weight allowed me to get full range of motion with each exercise, the way I should've been doing it in the first place with good form. Will not likely progress any next workout and will keep the weight the same. Wouldn't want to risk stalling again.
When It starts to feel easy, I'll up the weight by a couple of pounds.

Today

Was an off day today so I did some cardio like 5k suggested. Will be doing it every off day from now on.

Didn't some sprinting today but it didn't go too well. I was disappointed because sprinting is a strong point of mine, I'm the fastest runner in my school as of now.
However I haven't done it in a while, and I ended up getting too puffed out not being able to breath very well.

Don't really know how to approach it next time. I know OffRoad does some conditioning work with his son, so Off Road if you could stop by here and give me some advice on that I'd be really grateful. If you can bare to speak to me again that is. If not I understand.

Good workout, Linden.

If you like sprinting, go ahead and do it more. Your cardio will come back quickly, it's just a matter of getting back into it. I've put on 30lbs in the last 2 years, and my sprint times are as good as ever. Don't blame it on the weight you've put on, just do what you have fun doing, and if it's sprinting then do it.

I have heard more than once in the past that sprints are good for ab development.

I'm curious tho Linden. You are a model currently, correct? Are the powers that be pressuring you to put on muscle, or is it your own decision to do so? Are you concerned the jobs will dry up if you are not more muscular? Do you feel you will get bigger and better jobs if more muscular?

There's no pressure from the agencies, it was purely my decision. For my confidence and self esteem mainly. Looking good and getting strong being the other main another reason.

If I get more muscular, then yeah, It'll open up new doors for me in terms of modeling, and Thats another reason I'm doing this.

Youv'e no doubt seen my worry of fat gain popping up all the time on here, and that was where h e modeling thing lies
The fear was that I'l lose the job I currently have because my face changes due to fat gain.
It wasn't that the fear that they'd dry up if I wasn't muscular (although that would happen in a few years) it was purely the fat gain thing that I get worked up about from time to time.

I try to put it to the back of my mind though.
