Finding myself again.
Hello everyone,

My name is Alek from ru/swe, 26 years old, Im 186 cm (61/62ish?) tall, weight about 90 kg (198 lbs). I started to lift when I was 15 and was treating it as my religion until I turned 21.. then.. life happened.
I was pulled away from weights and focused a lot on work, a couple of weeks ago I met a friend of mine whom I have not seen in about 5 years.The very first thing he said to me was "What happened to you!?". It struck like a knife, it really did. The very same day I looked in the mirror, and asked myself "What happened to you?". I went from 95 kg 10%ish body fat dude of awesome to 90kg with 25-30% body fat workaholic. Then I realized.. "Motherfucker! You have not touched a single weight for 5 years!".
I slapped myself and made a promise to myself to never let that happen again. I have removed everything that is negative in my life, I have said "NO" to a lot of stuff at work, started to eat right and slowly going back to that social and awesome dude I once was.

I have been hitting the gym for 3 weeks now, 3 days/week, mon/wen/fri

Day A
Squat 5x5
Bench 5x5
Barbell row 5x5

Day B
Squat 5x5
Overhead press 5x5
Deadlift 5x3

My last weeks weights, this is weights I lift for 5 reps.

Squat - 65 kg/143 lbs (yea, sitting in the office for 5 years does that to your legs)
Bench - 85 kg/187 lbs
Barbell row - 80 kg/176 lbs
Overhead press - 65 kg/143 lbs
Deadlift - 100 kg/220 lbs

Later today, after work I will be hitting my day B.

No more exuses, no more "Yes, I can do that even if I have to do overtime for 3 weeks straight", fuck that, I am going back to my old me.

welcome, your upperbody has kept some strength by the look of things.

Day B
Squat 5x5, 3 sets with 65 kg and 2 sets with 70 kg, I belive my form is bad on this one, squat movement does feel wierd. Will look more into that.
Ohp 5x8, 65 kg, going to add more weight next time.
Deads 3x5 2 sets with 100 kg, 1 set with 120kg, but my legs are letting me down.
Still had energy left so I gave triceps some love. Did narrow grip bench with 80kg 5x5

Day A

Squat - 3x5 60kg, 2x5 70kg. Found a chair that is brlow my knees, threw it behind me and went all the way down to the sitting position. Felt great, can feel that I am getting my balance back.

Bench - 1x5 85kg, felt like I was under a truck today eventhough last session it felt like I could bump up to 90 kg. 1x3 85 kg, would have failed on the 4th rep. 3x8 80 kg.

B.rows - 1x5 70kg, 1x5 75 kg and 3x5 with 80 kg.
