Not sure what to tell you on the elbow situation. I have flare ups occasionally on one elbow or the other, but it seems to stem from other accessory work in my case.
Thanks, hope your feeling better!

Thanks, Ravi. I do take fish oil and it's always done me well. I'm thinking my wrists are bending back on the heavy benches and creating pressure on elbows.

Meanwhile, it also turns out you can bench more than me, so I'll opt for not trying to give advice. :/ Hopefully, you can sort it out, with or without the help of a more experienced lifter.
Ha, anyone can give advice and I'd listen!

Strong work to get such fine reppage @ 240 Jio, despite the distraction of the elbow. IMO, wrist wraps are mandatory, especially when getting into big iron territory over 2PPS. I also think a slingshot would help you. I have the blue reactive one, which provides less assistance than the red one. So, when you lift with the blue one, it is closer to raw than the red one numbers wise.

Super session dude. Try some elbow sleeves? Or maybe put some icy hot on the elbows.

Are you sure this is the reason ... With this kind of position, I think you should feel pressure on your wrist before your elbows ... Try wrist wraps as pointed by super Jim. Stay strong and healthy ...

Congrats on the bench PR, that's mighty strong already by my standards.

Came up 1 rep short of what I wanted to do, but mentally wasn't in it from the get go on the bench. Soon as I unracked 95 during warm ups I felt some wierd pain/flare up in both of my elbows. I didn't feel it during reps that much, but as soon as I racked the bar and let go of it, it would hit me. I don't use any wrist wraps or anything when I bench, maybe those would help? Any suggestions?

Great work J! Congrats on the PR! Yes, as everyone said, get some wraps! Protection of the joints is important, they will help!

Great work! Wrist wraps have helped me, although my right wrap keeps coming undone as soon as I grab the bar which I'm not happy with.

I know it sounds stupid but try to warm up with the bar some to get your joints moving without any weight or a few pushups or something. I've noticed my elbows and shoulders hurt sometimes like you said on light weight.

Good idea, Cutty. I think I might skip chins also to see if that is actually the culprit. I do 5x10 of them during bench warm ups.

Need to work on staying tight during squats. I got the 1st set, lost the 2nd set on 5th rep, got pissed, got the 3rd, lost the 4th, got pissed, got the 5th. So either I need to get pissed more or concentrate on staying tight so I don't lean too far forward out of the hole on the bottom.
