Bench looking good Jio. I would try to get some leg drive happening though.

Doing close grips and dips in the same session is a bitch. Try doing some band pushdowns - that is what JB has me doing most of the time for blood flow work.

Yea that wasn't well thought out...

I need to work on leg drive, I feel my legs contracting but I think I have them forward more? I don't know, I definitely don't use leg drive when I'm doing rep work for whatever reason. Usually I'm just thinking about squeezing my back and my lats.

The leg drive thing only took me a year to figure out lol! The bench truly is a full body lift.

Yea I do need to learn that, I bet I could mash 315 if I could be more consistent with it!

Back Day

I don't have any meets or anything coming up, so I decided to give sumo pulling a try today for fun. I've never done it and was just curious about it. Read a couple pointers and went on my way. Messed with foot and hand position a lot but when I got them dialed in around set 3 man the speed was there.

Sumo - 5x3x315 PR cause I've never done them haha. Very easy but I figure I'll just add 10 next week and take it from there!
Conventional - 2x365 just to see what it felt like after the sumo work.
BB Row: 4x10x170
Pull Ups: 4x8
Shrugs: 4x10x315

Only thing I'll change here is that I'm going to take shrugs out for a high rack pull/shrug just to get more back work in.

It was a fun change.

Great session Jio ... Some great wts. and equally good volume on Sumo ... super working on Rows / shrugs ... awesome volume ... ... keep up the great work brother ...
