Thanks OR, Elite.

Today's George Peppard fact George Peppard vs veteran actor George Hamilton- who wins? Tough one to call. Both men had matinee idol looks and an easy charm. But Peppard has the edge. You see, to this day, George Hamilton relies too much on his teeth. Look on Google Images - in almost every images, he is showing off his many thousands of unnaturally shiny teeth! Well, there is such a thing as too many pictures of teeth.

And for that reason, Peppard wins.

Sunday

Test drove my aching clicking knee with some slightly heavier (but still light) squats this morning, and some light leg press. Seemed OK-ish. Overhead squats as horrible as ever.

Light squats

70 (154) X 10
80 (176) X 10
80 (176) X 10
110 (242) X 10

Overhead squats

20 (44) X 10
40 (88) X 8
40 (88) X 8
40 (88) X 7

Leg press

210 (465) X 15
210 (465) X 15

Barbell curls

60 (132) X 5
60 (132) X 5
60 (132) X 5

Rest-pause incline DB curls

20s (44s) X 7 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2

Nice work Tann. Take care of that knee. Mine's a little wonky right now too. What are overhead squats?

Hello, Iron Will - short for Iron William?

Overhead squats - you take a wide grip on the bar and press it up until your arms are locked. You hold it there while squatting. So it's like the second half of an olympic snatch.

It's horrible and difficult. There are some 130lb crossfit women on youtube who overhead squatting 130 lbs for 15 reps. I can't overhead squat 130lbs for one rep.

Apologies if you mentioned it already and I missed it, but what happened to the knee?

I didn't mention it. I helped someone to move house and I was jumping up and down off the removal truck. Sometimes I was doing this holding furniture etc.

Next training session the knee was hurting.

Hopefully nothing major.

Thanks for asking

Hopefully it works itself out quick enough, one of your 'perks' for being strong is that you are first port of call for house moving
