Looking srtong there Tann, I just started following your log a week - 10 days ago. I seem to be gaining interest in other "geezers" like myself, and I am very interested in what others closer to my age are doing.

Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

Yeah, I look round on the geezer blogs too. I'm interested in what Off Road is doing at the moment. Mine is really very unstructured.

Friday

Not a good day in the gym. I'm not sure of the reason: I'd had plenty of sleep, hadn't restricted my calories, and had an easy day at work. I set squats up well. I just didn't have much endurance. Chickened out of a set with 187.5 because I could just tell it was going to end in disaster. 308 X 12 wiped me out.

Missed SLDLs at the end as I was just bucketing sweat out everywhere and had no energy left.

Nice Squats Tann.
Many times I have wanted to try an oxygen tank for the moderate-heavy high rep sets to see if it would help with recovery.
