They feel pretty heavy to be honest.

Not up to 405 X 5 at the moment, only 403 X 2, but working my way towards that.

My all-time best is 403 X 8, or 420 X 6, so some way to go

Sunday

Hey, hey.

I wasn't expecting too much from today's workout as I was a bit stiff from digging the garden yesterday, and I also walked overthe local hills for an hour, and I had a late night. So I cut the volume back and cut out the leg press. Pleased with how it went. 210 (463) X 5 on deadlifts is progress. I would have liked an extra rep on 403 on squats...hopefully next week.

Strong pulling for sure. The squats were really big after the pulls, I would have been toast!

Tuesday

Not bad. I wanted 130 X 6 on bench, but I'm not there yet. 100 X 14 is getting better, though. I decided to avoid weighted chins and myo-reps (rest-pause) because my bicep tendon is playing up a little. 12 pull-ups is pretty good for me, though I did take my shoesies off to lose a couple of pounds.

Wednesday

Now, this was a bit of a departure for me. I went in just to do arms...and to be honest it was after seeing Ramrod's extraordinary bicep shot.

I also had the idea of starting to work shoulders every workout.

So: I felt overall as if I shouldn't have done it, though the pump was out of this world. I didn't have much strength, my shoulders and arms didn't feel recovered from yesterday, and my dicky elbow didn't like it at all. I learned that there are certain triceps exercises I just can't do.

Standing DB press

28 (61s) X 12, 10, 10

alternate with:

Incline DB curls

24 (52) X 5, 5, 5

Single-arm cross body tricep extension

10 (22 ) X 10, 10

alternate with:

DB hammer curls

20 (44) X 7, 7

low pulley curls

100 ish X 8-10 5 sets

superset with:

tricep pushdowns

100 ish X 8-10 5 sets.

About 30 seconds rest between supersets.

Look at me, training like Jay Cutler or somebody.
