New log because I'm going in a different direction. Not sure what direction it is yet but it's sufficiently different to warrant a fresh start and a new log. Tonight was the first step on my road to redemption.
Foam roll and stretch
Bar x lots
60kg x 5
80kgs x 3
100kgs x 3
120kgs x 1
130kgs x 1
135kgs x 1 Comfortable with a brief pause at the chest
125kgs x 3
115kgs x 5
Squats with cambered bar
60kgs x 5
100kgs x 5
140kgs x 1
170kgs x 1
155kgs x 9, 6, 5, 6
2 minutes rest between sets
80kgs for 3 sets of 10
175kgs x 10
200kgs for 2 sets of 10
Seated DB OHP
15kgs x 25
15kgs x 15
Bench felt strong for not having gone over about 120kgs raw in 6 weeks. Squat reps were weird; weight felt light but conditioning isn't there yet. Overall it felt good to really push myself hard. Sweat was dripping, I was crazy pumped and dry retching. Good times.
I might be onto something here.
