Decent session tonight. Wanted a bit of a deload to allow for heavy benching tomorrow night and a big squat on Sunday so I used chains and less bar weight. The suit hasn't been washed in a while so the straps have loosened up a bit which made getting down to the bar easier. The legs and nut area are still tight though so got decent pop out of the bottom. All pulls were smooth and easy. Top set is around opener weight at the top (227.5kgs) and was very comfortable. Definitely the best form I've had in the suit so far. Plan now is to wash it and then work up to around an opener next week in straight weight.

Assistance was strong. I'm enjoying the barbell rows and upping the weight slowly. Overall this was a promising session. Felt good to pull the top set with no psyche up, smelling salts, grunting or good music.

Back in for bench tomorrow night for redemption with 185kgs. Excited already
Great workout Al! Strong stuff and can't wait to see you crush 185!!!

Nice pulls.

The Queen Mary wants her anchor chains back, btw! Goodness those are big links on those chains.

Nice work LtL!

With the suit, does that mean you can tweak when you wash it, in relation to when a meet is, in order to get the absolute best out of it, given that you felt everything fell in place this session around?

That's right Babs. I'll wash it now and if it's too tight next week, I won't wash it again before the meet. If I can cope with the extra pop and tightness, I'll wash it every week before the meet to get used to the tightness.

Thanks mate. Rows are weak as **** right now. Need to get them up to 140 for 10 ASAP. That will definitely help my pull.

Excited to bench tonight. About to order spicy chicken and chips as part of the prep

Nando's for lunch?

Really solid pulling and glad you are becoming happy with them as well. Rows and pull ups getting stronger which will help quite a bit.

Didn't know the suits got tighter after washing like blue jeans!
