BENCH PRESS/SQUAT

Hip stretches and band stretches for shoulders and lats

Bench press
Bar x 20
50kgs x 5
80kgs x 3
100kgs x 3
115kgs x 2
125kgs x 1
132.5kgs x 1
140kgs x 1
Add shirt
165kgs x 2 (2board then 1board)
Add belt and pulled shirt down some. Not fully jacked.
175kgs x 2 (1board then chest)
185kgs x 1 (1board)

Squats
Bar x 10
50kgs x 5
70kgs x 5
90kgs x 5
110kgs x 3

Great session tonight. Not been in my shirt for over 2 months and was really pleased with how I handled the weights. 140kgs raw was butter and went very fast. Shirt was noticeably tighter from extra muscle which is great. Struggled a little bit to touch on the 175 but felt in control of the weight and was able to sit patiently at the bottom and wait which is a very good sign. Need to work on throwing my elbows around to lockout smoother but for first session back I felt very strong. I was particularly pleased to be able to throw 165 around with no belt like it was nothing. Apologies for poor angle on some of the bench work but was working with inexperienced spotters and didn't have anyone extra to run the camera. Hopefully it shows enough for people to offer advice.

Squats felt much better again. Still not able to fire up explosively out of the hole. Pain is almost gone until I tried to really throw the 110 up and it let me know it was still there. Should be fine to work up in the suit bottoms on Sunday though: good times. Here's the video:

that raw set was very fast. Had plenty left.

Looks like your wrists are pretty "limp" on the equipped sets. They look folded back really bad. If thats the case, make sure you get the bar deep into the base of your palm.

Yeah I noticed that; looks horrible! Just need to get it seated further forward I guess.
