Wow, only 2 weeks or so, not long; nice session!

Do you have any set food intake whilst you ease off the heavy training prior to the meet? Also are you at the bodyweight you need to be at etc or is their no set divisions as such in geared?

Thanks Babs. Weight classes are same for equipped as raw. I am sitting around 103kgs right now so will make 100 easily with a 24 hour weigh-in.

Food intake remains the same except for cutting down on carbs in my waterload. I still eat them but carbs that hold water like pasta, rice and bread are out.

Week 13 Squat/DL @ Darkside Barbell in Windsor

Foam roll, band stretches including crazy hip stretches with mini band which made me feel like whatever the opposite of a Supple Leopard is

Squats
80kgs x lots
Add briefs
130kgs x 5
Add belt
180kgs x 3
Add wraps
210kgs x 1
Add suit bottom
240kgs x 1
Straps up
270kgs x 1 Smoke show
290kgs x 1 Also comfortable rep and a massive 15kgs PB
Add reverse band deloading ~30kgs
310kgs x 1

Holy crap what a session! Ran out of time for deadlifts unfortunately but squats went better than I could have hoped. Having a crew who knows what they are doing and using proper equipment (monolift and most importantly a squat bar that doesn't flex!) makes a huge difference and allows me to actually display the strength that I have. I am now confident of hitting my goal of 300 at Qualifiers.

All of the heavy stuff is now done. Time to rest up, recover, hopefully get shot of any lingering cold and flu that I STILL have and get ready to execute on the platform.

Video will be posted later and will include lifts from the team up to an 850lbs reverse band squat with straps down from the coach!!!
