Week 6 Deadlift in full gear

Foam roll and deep heat applied
Band stretches for groin

Sumo pulls
(All hook grip)
100kgs x 3, 3, 3
Add suit, straps up and belt
140kgs x 1
150kgs x 1
160kgs x 1
170kgs x 1

Strict shrugs
140kgs x 5
180kgs x 5
200kgs x 5
220kgs x 5

Rear felt shrugs on seated cable row
45kgs for 4 sets of 10

Pulling in gear hurts but this went better than last time. Need to keep hammering the upper back strength until I can set that back straight. Bearing in mind that the first video from today I am weighing around 15lbs more than in the second video from last August and the suit is the same size, I feel I am moving in the right direction.

The 170 looked the best to me. That is usually the case with you it seems - the heavier it gets the better the form. Like Jay said, your looked massive and strong as Hell. Well done Al!

Thanks Jimbo. With the suit a heavier bar means I can pull myself down into position better. Hoping that continues to work for me as I work up heavier this week.

I'm getting bigger all over right now and not just fatter so that's a great sign. Long may it continue
