Must.......buy.........Texas deadlift bar!
Honestly beyond my power rack for safety and multiple purposes, the dead bar is buy far the best thing I've bought, period! But that's me

I have decided to withdraw from the push/pull meet next weekend. Mrs Al's Grandad passed last week and with that and the new house, I need to be around.

As I will not be competing again until March, I did some raw rep work and destroyed my triceps. Top set probably wasn't far off a rep PB and bearing in mind how little raw work I've done recently, that's a good sign. Really punished my triceps then with slingshot work, inclines, extensions and by the time I tried dips, I had nothing left so just pushed some more blood in there.

Going to be Skype-ing JB this week to formulate a plan of attack for March. Not competing now just means I have to deliver even more in March to prove myself. 800kgs total or die trying.

I don't have a meet until May, as Canada shuts down in Winter. Likely is a blessing for me in many ways.

Nice solid work - sweet reps at 265 lbs for sure. Dips gave you a bit of trouble eh?
