Haha I'm definitely not good at them: pulling an opener tonight and will only be around 460. Another 100lbs and I might consider myself good

I hear ya - I have always heard that a 2.5X BW raw pull is considered strong, which would be about 525 for me. Your form tho has certainly been improving so that should help pave the way to 550

Decent session last night. Took a while to get mobile and took a few more reps warming up to find my groove but everything moved fast after that. Angled feet out slightly more (same stance width just toes out more) and that seemed to help me get my knees out of the way. Tape on my thumbs slipped on the heaviest pull but was still smooth and easy. Bar is still accelerating into the lockout which is a good sign that my improved form is carrying over into the heavier weights. Hardest exercise of the night was the SLDLs. That is a PB weight for me but my hammies were so tight after the move that they were very hard. Need to do some more rolling and stretching to loosen them a bit. Overall pretty pleased with that. Will pull once more before the meet now. Next session is Saturday where I bench with the crew in Windsor. Will probably hit an opener and then some overload.
