It's their lack of awareness of their own stupidity that annoys me. It ends up making it sound like it's my fault that they are too stupid to help me.

Deload session

Light stretch for hips
Didn't feel like I needed much of a warm-up as had been active all day which was good

Cambered bar squats RAW (capitalised to show no sleeves, belt, wraps or even good music to assist me)
Bar x lots
60kgs x 5
100kgs x 5
120kgs x 5, 5, 5

Turned toes out a bit more than usual and it felt good. Hips opened more and I got better depth and more hip power. Hope this carries over in gear.

Floor press with football bar
Bar x lots
60kgs x 5
80kgs x 5, 5, 5

Rear delt rows
8 x 8 @30kgs

Superset with

Hammer curls
8 x 8 @12kgs

Explosive pull-ups
10 singles

Lat pulldown
5 x 10 @ some weight

Good some blood flowing and worked out a technique change on squats. Nice deload session. House move is Thursday and then back to training on Sunday for deadlifts.

I have extended the Coan cycle to take me right up to the meet so that will be a test and I'll decide whether to stick with sumo or go conventional. At the moment I'm erring on the side of sumo because I like the movement and I can get more out of any gear I wear next year but we'll see.
