Skipped, played hockey for 1h30, pulled something in my inner thigh, so called the session off.

I think my hips shot up on the 2nd rep, I was also pretty beat up from all the rep work..
At least all my reps were clean knee-wise, and well the 285lbs went up thanks to my abs and good morning capability..

Did 215lbs and racked right away, didn't want to get stapled with it.
Then I thought of BtB hulking up tonight, and gave 225lbs a try.. well.. I got the second try half-way up and had to breathe, as I exhaled, lost the tightness and got stapled. Next cycle will be 220lbs, 225lbs is close though!

Test my OH squat, ended up dropping it forward.. I leaned forward too much, didn't set my shoulders back before going down.

All that skating you've been doing has to take it's toll on the lifting, not that it's a bad thing though. I believe conditioning is just as important, and so is having fun.

Yep. Realized I've went off track for a couple months, going back to regular 5/3/1 with a programming from Beyond 5/3/1.. and some olymptic lifts in-between sessions.

Edit: Forgot to mention in the previous workout that the bench (215lbs) was a new PR.. tonight going for an OHP PR, hoping a 315lbs deadlift PR in reps (1+) since I've pulled 325lbs before.

I almost pulled a Byrd and black out on the 5th rep.. I did see stars and fumbled off the platform eh.

Really wanted to get the 130lbs, but it felt real heavy, brain wasn't there.. I kept trying to prime myself up, get angry and all.. couldn't get it over my head.. whatever, it's not a main lift per se, rather have done 315x5 on deads.

Had some energy left, and had been staring down the new KBs (60/70/80) .. so went ahead and worked on explosiveness.

Will not do anything heavy for the rest of the week.. will rest up, practice very light clean and jerk, snatch on Friday and Saturday..

Nothing much to say.. damn good session.. squats were tough, bench stretched them pecs good, front squats were hard, floor press is surprising hard.. all in all it felt like a full body workout heh.

Only thing I'll have to make sure is to warm up better on squats, only felt comfortable after my third working set.
