Thanks guys, today was the final squat session of this cycle.. didn't track it since it was a 1RM sesh.
Warmed up with 135lbs, started work sets with singles at 245, 265, 285.. then I went all out for 300lbs.. managed to hit depth controlled, but half-way up I had to good morning it.
Apparently as long as you hit depth, you get white lights even if you end up good morning it.. soo... I'll take the 300lbs.

Weaknesses did show up through this intense squat month..
I'll be doing a very modified 5/3/1.. no deload
May seem like a lot of work, or big exercises, but after the month of squats I've just done.. I def think my body can cope with the beating for now.
I like 5/3/1, but I think it's limiting a bit my ability to grow, so with double the work load, I'm expecting bigger gains, like the squat this month. (250lbs to 300lbs)

First and second exercise will be this:
Week 1 5x5
Week 2 3x5
Week 3 5x3
Week 4 5/3/1+

MR = Max reps

Day 1
Back Squat 5/3/1
Bench Press 5/3/1
Chin-ups 5xMR
Barbell Curls 5x6-8

Day 2
Deadlift 5/3/1
Overhead Press 5/3/1
Bent-over Rows 5x6-8
Dips 5x6-8

Day 3
Front Squat 5/3/1
Bench Press (Slingshot) 5/3/1
Good Mornings 5x6-8
Barbell Ab Rolls 5xMR

Day 4
Deadlift 5/3/1
Overhead Press 5/3/1
Face Pulls 5x6-8
Arnold Press 5x6-8

Target areas for July:
- Abs
- Biceps
- Back

Good lifting in here.

That new plan does look a bit crazy, yes. But if you can make it work, there will be all kiiindz of gainz.

* = Warm-up sets

C5W1D1
Squat
135x5*
135x5*
165x3*
165x3*
180x5
195x5
210x5
225x5
240x5

For some reason these were hard, possibly the week off is to blame, or poor nutrition while on vacation.
Still managed to do all sets/reps, will welcome the 3x5 next week, even if it's heavier. Getting too old for this high rep shizz..
Reminder, my previous cycle, I peaked at 250lbs, but this cycle is calculated off the new 300lbs PR..

Bench Press
95x10*
115x5*
135x5
150x5
160x5
170x5
180x5

Had to do micro sets on last two sets, no spotters and was definitely at max effort heh.

Chin-ups
BWx5
BWx5
BWx5
BWx3
BWx3

These went ok, form was good, went strict, I don't care for reps, just want to work them biceps a bit more.

Barbell Curls
45x8
50x8
55x8
60x6
60x6

I'll be starting with 55lbs next time.. and I'm using suicide grip on these to stretch my ligaments, hopefully helps me do front squats the legit way soon!

Overall, the programming could have been a bit lower, but since I managed to do all 5x5 with crappy food/water intake and 3hrs of sleep... I'll wait a bit to judge.

Forgot the "good idea" I had to go for a 2.5k run right after the workout.. cramped up all over..
but at least I finished running, and the mind/muscle connection in my legs is now good enough that I can recruit specific muscles to perfect my strides.. progress!

C5W1D2
Deadlift
135x5*
185x5*
200x5
215x5
235x5
250x5
265x5 (Conventional)

These were rough, the run was not a good idea heh.. from the start it was a grind.
My biggest problem with sumo right now is not having my arms drag up (with alt grip only) my legs.. it really prevents a clean pull.
I'll have to look at other guys, if they go narrow with the legs, wider with the arms.. not sure what to do..
Finally, I tried conventional on the heaviest because I wasn't happy/confident in my sumo today.. well, I hate conventional.. 'nough said

Overhead Press
85x5
90x5
95x5
105x5
110x5

Did not miss these suckers.. but at least I got lats to push off of now, we'll see how that'll go!

Bent-over Rows
95x8
105x8
105x8
110x8
110x8

I do Pendlay's version, and these went well, I think a few months of hard work on other lifts strengthened my back/abs/legs to keep a good form on these now.
Also mind/muscle connection was there to really squeeze my blades together and recruit my back more than my arms.

Dips
BWx8
30#x6
30#x6
30#x6
30#x6

Definitely a challenge today, soreness in the chest and biceps wasn't helping.. but I still grinded them reps out.
Next time I'll start with the 30# and probably end up with 8 reps all accross.
