This was one of those days where I just had to accept what my body was going to give me. Going into the squats, my brain was thinking a couple of sets of 20 reps, but my legs were thinking a couple of sets of 10 reps. I decided to listen to my body and leave the gym feeling fresh instead of "hammered." After all, I have a sprint workout tomorrow. . .

On a sad note, my son and I wore out our pushing sled. One year of consistent pushing and the front skid has completely worn through, we are now pushing on the bare pipe. In hind sight I should have spent the extra money and bought a real Prowler because you can replace the skids on it. I will be ordering a Prowler in the next month, just have to wait a short while and see if EliteFTS has a sale soon. I hate it when you buy something from them and a month later it's on sale for 20% off.

No doubt, I should of paid for the Prowler up front. Lesson learned.

Warm Ups
Typical
Plus 3 cone drill, pro agility drill, and one 440 yrd lap

Sprints
20 yards x 10
15 yards x 5
10 yards x 10

Notes:
My son and I run these together. We start in a 3 point football stance and take turns calling the start. If one of us jumps it's a 5 yard penalty. If the other guy catches the caller, it's a 5 yard penalty. This makes us run a lot harder and keeps it fun. My quads are KILLING me right now. . .
