Pretty quick training session, and felt pretty strong. Took us a few mins to figure out to get the bands figured out.

Today I was invited to a local Strongman competition. I have never done one, but it sounds fun so I registered for it. Here are the events:

- Log Bar Shoulder press (Knock out, highest weight wins)
M< 100 starting weight
M> 135 Starting weight
W 65 Starting weight

- Tire Flip (three tires for points, small- 1 pts, med- 2 pts, large- 3 pts. 1 Min time limit)
M< Small, Medium, Large
M> Small, Medium, Large
W X-Small, Small, Medium

- Atlas stones (Load over yoke for reps. 1:30 time limit)
M< 200
M> 220
W 115/TBD(?)

- Truck Pull (Rope assist. 2 Min time limit):
M< Ram 2500
M> Ram 2500 + 135 dragging sled
W TBD/Light Pick up

- Relay/Medley (Yoke carry 100 ft; Farmers Walk 100 ft; Sled pull/row 100 ft. 1 Min time limit):
M< TBD
M> TBD
W TBD

I will obviously be in the >200 category. It isnt until May 4th, so I have alot of time to bring up some of my conditioning, but my primary focus right now is the powerlifting meet on April 20th.

my bicep had some pain going on in it, so the benching felt a little off, and it wasnt nearly as fast as normal. Felt like i was holding back to not hurt my bicep.

A Ram truck for the pull? Strongman will be super fun but that just seems crazy easy.I pushed a school bus on gravel when i was 14.

Sorry I haven't been updating my log. This whole week was nothing to write home about, and this coming week I am going to be deloading because i just feel off and don't have that drive to get to the gym at the moment. I am going to go in to do some quick short training accessory stuff, but nothing crazy. I will update with those training.
