Upper day today. My body was still a temple of pain from my last lower session. Traps and lower back are really really sore. Still went pretty well. Managed a PR on bench and dumbell row.

I also changed gym today. Discovered a new gym and they have lot more/better stuff than my old one. There's 2 squat rack instead of 1 and a nice platform for deadlift and olympic lifting. Also seems to be more experienced people there, I think this is for the best.

Here it goes:
UPPER

Bench press
warmup with bar
135x5 warmup
175x3 warmup
195x5
205x5
225x6 (PR!!)

Dumbell row
90x5
95x6
100x5 (PR!!)

Overhead press
115x8
115x8

Lat pulldown
200x8
200x8

Tricep dumbell press behind the head
70x12
70x12

Barbell curl
80x12
80x10

So today was lower day. I was supposed to go yesterday but I was so damn sore still that I waited today and I gotta say I still havn't fully recovered from my last lower workout for some reason. I think the fact that I didn't have good sleep for a couple days in a row really didn't help. So for this session, my goal was mostly to keep up with the weights used previously.

Here it is :
LOWER

Squat
warmup with bar only
5x155
5x175
5x195
5x225

Sumo deadlift
5x135 warmup
3x185 warmup
5x225
5x225

Leg press
5x450
5x450

This was my first sets with this new leg press machine at my new gym so that's why the number are different. I think it might take some time for me to adjust to this new machine as the movement pattern is not the same. Feels a bit weird at first.

Standing Calf raise
340x9
340x8
340x8

I don't know why it is, but every leg press feels completely different to me.

Keep smashing.

haha yeah, but I gotta say this one is one of the weirdest I have tried. Basically the platform where you place your feet on changes angle the more you lower it, so at the end of the movement I'm almost scared it might make my feet slip.

So today was upper day and to be honest it didn't go too well. I don't know if my triceps were tired or something but bench and triceps work didn't go too well. Back went good at least.

Here it is :

UPPER

Bench press
warmup with bar
135x5 warmup
175x3 warmup
195x5
205x5
225x5 (yeah I know 1 less rep than last week, the 6th rep seemed really impossible today damn)

Dumbell row
95x5
100x5
105x5 (PR!!)

Overhead press
115x8
115x8

Lat pulldown

200x8
200x8

Tricep dumbell press behind the head
70x11
70x9
Couldn't equal last workout reps on this too. My triceps didn't feel like doing work today it seems.

Barbell curl
80x12
80x10

Pretty good session today.

I tried for the first time my knee wraps and they really feel great. I think it might take a bit of time to really get used to them but still I like it. Helped me get an easy PR on squat.

Here it goes:
LOWER

Squat
warmup with bar only
5x155
5x175
5x225
5x245 (PR with knee wraps!)

SLDL
5x135 warmup
3x185 warmup
5x275
5x335 (PR!!)

Leg press
10x450
8x450
Still not used to the movement but it's getting better.
