Yeah but no real luck, doesnt know exactly what it is and dry needling therapy hasn't worked. So looking into it a bit more but for now all I have is stretching and giving it time.

Reaaaally hoping to be able to train lowerbody again soon for even more smashing.

Went to a doctor in belgium whose diagnosis was bursitis of the hamstring insertion at the hip. Gave me an injection to fight the inflammation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bursitis

basically:
Quote:
Healthy bursae create a smooth, almost frictionless functional gliding surface making normal movement painless. When bursitis occurs, however, movement relying upon the inflamed bursa becomes difficult and painful. Moreover, movement of tendons and muscles over the inflamed bursa aggravates its inflammation, perpetuating the problem.
edit: which sounds a LOT like what I've been experiencing. That + the fact that the narcotic component of the injection has long worn off and I squatted without pain today (albeit light) might very well mean I'm on to something here (and the doc ofcourse haha)
