Have been away for a while but I haven't taken a pause from training! Sorry for not posting earlier but these were my last 3 sessions.

Deadlift 5/5/4/3 x 155kg
Leg press 12/12/10 x 130kg
Also did calf raises, ab pulldowns, shrugs and barbell holds.

Bench 5/4/4/3 x 72.5kg
DB row 6/5/5/5 x 40kg
Overhead press 10/9/8 x 45kg
Also did bicep curls, skullcrushers and face pulls.

Squat 5/2/2/1 x 140kg (first time squatting 3 plates, very odd distribution of reps over the sets, suppose I wasn't 100% rested.)
Leg press 12/12/10 x 140kg
Also did calf raises, ab pulldowns, barbell holds and barbell shrugs!

Ain't going to lie to you guys. I just graduated high school and there were.... parties. Everywhere.

That didn't stop me from training though, only from updating my log. So here are my last couple of workouts.

Squat 5/5/5/3 x 140kg
Leg press 11//11/10 x 160kg
+ calf raises, ab pulldowns and dumbell rows

Deadlift 4/4/2/1 x 160kg
Leg press 10/10/10 x 170kg
+ calf raises, ab pulldowns and dumbell rows

Bench 2 * 72.kg
Pause Bench ? * 60kg
Overhead press 7/6/6 x 45kg

My bench has been.. going down lately. I'm really not sure how it's happening since my squat and deadlift are still going up. It's something I'm looking into at the moment. That said I had a question. What is the place of a pause bench VS a normal touch and go bench in regular training in your guys' opinion? I found them quite fun to do. Gonna try to keep my log up to date again now!

I track my calories everyday and it's always been above 3k (sometimes even 4k if I went out to dinner or something ). I've been gaining weight at a steady pace (perhaps a little too fast but hey, I love to eat haha). Weighing about 84kg now at 1.80m. That combined with the fact that other lifts do seem to be moving up has really left me baffled at why my bench is stalling so much.

Anyway here's my last squat workout.

The bar was bending so I wasn't pretending!

Squat 5/5/2/1 x 140kg (I swear that last rep was the slowest rep I've ever done lol)
Leg Curl 10/10/10 x 65kg
Leg Press 10/10/10 x 180kg
Also did calf raises and ab pulldowns

Squat strength compared to last time felt fine for the first 2 sets, but I think I didn't quite have the energy to continue after that. Went from doing 5 reps which was doable to struggling for my life for 1 rep. It was a morning workout so perhaps I didn't quite eat enough food the day prior.

Bench workout today, seeing as it's been a while since I had a good bench day I lowered my bench weight by 2.5kg.

Bench 5/5/5/5 x 70kg (without a spotter to help me unrack/rack it. this was very doable so apparently I haven't regressed as much as I thought I had .)

Db row 6/6/5/5 x 46kg
Overhead press 8/8/6 x 45kg

To finish it up I did some bicep curls and dips (as many reps as possible and then negatives up to 10 reps, really suck at dips haha.)

Nice rep! You stayed upright even though you were getting fatigued.

Deadlift day, had a good one .

Deadlift 6/5/5/5 x 160kg
Leg press 13 x 190kg / 10/10 x 200kg
Seated Leg Curl 9/4/5 x 70kg
Calf raise 11/10/10 x 70kg
Shrugs 11/11/12 x stack-9 (stacks aren't labeled lol, so just keeping track of how many are left underneath)
Ab pulldowns 10/10/10 x stack-7

I tried to do some DB rows aswell, but that wasn't going anywhere. Concluded that for one workout Deadlifts are enough back for me.

Also made some progress pics so I can compare later (and new avi!) haha.

Bench day, I am now officially confused.

Since I could do 5/5/5/5 with 70kg last time I tried 72.5kg today.
Bench press 3/3/3/3 x 72.5kg (Felt in control of the weight constantly and everything, but it still seems lackluster compared to 70x5x4.

Overhead press 8/6/7 x 45kg

I've decided that next to the big three I would also like to become at least decent at pullups and dips (at which I currently am terrible). Since I can't do decent sets yet I'm doing as many reps as possible and then negatives up to 10 reps.

Dips 4+6/4+6/4+6
Pullups 4+6/3+7/2+8 (lol)

Then I did some bicep curls and called it a day.

I made a thread about my current training program at Kleurplaay 'upper'/'lower' program - Muscle and Brawn Forums and would appreciate feedback/tips/anything!
