For me it felt right at the time. The extra time under tension helps with my lats and biceps. Otherwise I dont feel them activate as fully.

kinda sounds like my experience with upper body press movements. i have to be doing them as often as possible to see progress.

5x5 225lb machine squats (no free racks)
5x5 180lb seated cable rows
5 205lb deadlifts
3 255lb deadlifts
1 275lb deadlift

This didnt feel heavy enough for me so I upped it to 295 for 2 reps

5x5 120lb wide grip lat pulldowns
5x5 120lb crunches

Bench was a bit erratic.
after warming up I got to 170lbs
3x4
then 5x5 135lb close grip bench
5x3 150lb chest press
2x5 60lb cable tricep presses
3x5 180lb t-bar rows focusing on triceps

was pooped after that. My shoulders and arms have been sore due to spending 2 hours yesterday arm wrestling with my co workers. Beat almost everyone. Cant slam them, but I can get all of them in a disadvantageous position by twisting my wrist. Wrist and forearm strength probably from using the fatgrips.

after all of that was intense foam rolling. Hurt like hell, but my soreness subsided a little while later

2x10 185lb squats
3x5 230lb v-squats (the rack I started with did not seem secure)
2x5 320lb v-squats
5x5 120lb weighted crunches
10 100lb wide stance squats with a 5 second pause at the bottom
10 40lb dumbbell side raises
