Thank you again guys. Good training week this week - nothing amazing, but hit some solid numbers - speed squats and pulls yesterday was lots of fun! I'll update and reply properly when I'm home.

Never got around to writing last week up, but it was all pretty solid. Great football training session on Sunday with thing starting to come together - need to work on using my hands more as well as not over-committing to rushing the QB or RB.

Anyway, got my tattoo finished on Monday so took a couple of days off the gym to give it some time to start healing. Back in tomorrow for some SQWATS and then upper body on Friday. Got some fun things planned for tomorrow's training.

Meh, wanted seven. I got seven last time, before my hamstring niggle.

Was planning on doing more weight, but my legs were fucked from going all out on that last 5/3/1 set. Huh. Felt good though.

Pendulum Lunge i.e. the worst/most stupid/dangerous idea I've ever had.
60x5
60+40 chains x3
60+40 chains x5 on right leg, 1 on left, fall over, have a rest, do the other 4, die.

Pendulum lunges are probably a good idea. Basically it's my cool name for doing a forward lunge followed by a reverse lunge, which makes one rep. (So when I did 5 reps it's basically 10 lunges in total, per leg).

Last week I did 100kg reverse lunges so this week I thought I'd be really awesome and throw chains on the bar. Because NOTHING could possibly go wrong. I'm bad enough with balancing on lunges, put a pair of 20kg chains on each end swinging around like Al's balls. Christ almighty. Never again. Well... maybe, but perhaps not totaling 100kg. And pendulum style. Also, I've got a video of the third set where I fell over. It's pretty awesome.

Nice exercise to finish with. Tough and my hamstrings were pumped.
