Default Gpdt

I thought i would do the 20rep squat routine when i woke up this morning, but after my daily time surfing the web i got to thinking about EDT, I had been Formulating ways to improve iit for a while, and everything i came up with just didn't pass muster, but one thing that did stick was a shorter period for the pr zones.

After reading over Bulldozer training and C&P's Uncle system i think i may have found my answer.

Still in a highly experimental stage but...

I now give you GPDT- Grim's Power Density Training.

I figured since the setting was right, its storming right now, it was time to go into my lab and start the experiment.

Exercise 1- Bench Press

Since my recent best was 140x3 i decided to go with 130ibs on the bar for my work set (if you can call it that). after a few warm ups with lighter weights, it was time for the experiment to begin, 5min on the timer, how many singles could i hit in that time, 15 reps in 5min lol, thats pitiful but will be my new benchmark for an increase.

Exercise 2- Deadlift

200x5 was my previous best i do believe so thats what i went with, set the timer back to 5min, and let the fun begin. again i got 15reps, but by rep 7 i started wishing i had done the 20rep squat routine instead.

Exercise 3- Bent Over Row

140x16x5min


all in all it was fun, and after a few more workouts i will release the initial breakdown of it and all in an article

Scratch that last idea, soreness was insane, which makes it counter productive if i cant keep lifting so back to the old way
