good observation... if one thing is wrong and your body is out of balance, the energy to address it may show up as a deficit somewhere else...

side effects on the cellular level can be subtle and sneak up on you...

hopefully the rest and redirect will get you back in the game 100%

Done 30min in and out! Not sure how to feel about today? Happy to lift for my sanity, but my knee problems and how weak and unprepared for the meet I am sucks! Went heavier than planned to test myself or something? Knees weren't too bad lifting, wore my knees sleeves the whole time. Kind of sore now. Legs were on fire from those few squats, how Fing lame is that! Bench was fine and believe the height at the meet won't be a big issue anymore. Deads felt light and only was tough on my hands, yes I'm a pussy! So I did something, whoopydyfreakingwhooo!

You did great to brush off some rust and get loose. The thing is, is that even tho you feel unprepared, you are as well prepared as you can be. It's your 1st meet, so any succesful lift will be a PR. No pressure at all. Just have fun and enjoy the experience. Having Steve there will also help make you feel more comfortable and should ease any nerves.

Of course squats feel a bit hellish! Your body adjusts, yeah, but it also forgets alsmost as easily. :/

Just great that you're doing all kinds of lifting again. Numbers will be going up again.
