I keep meaning to ask, you know that issue you were trying to work out, as to whether to do a full meet, an ironman (?), or bench etc...is there one exercise, above any of the others, that really makes the head implode? If so, that would be one to try and avoid, unless it's all of them, in which case pick the one you really like to do and drop the other(s). Then select a meet that permits that lift, etc.
Thanks Babs! Not really! Anything can make my pain get worse, including doing nothing ! So actual work of any form adds to my crap. Bending over like good mornings are horrible, but none of the big 3 seem to be worse than anything else. Whatever my head decides to get bad from it does, I've found no real control other than doing as little as possible. So I just do what I can as well as I can. Don't think it's anything different than what you go thru or anyone else that has obstacles!

I think any shortcomings at the meet were due to your lack of discipline in proper dosing of bacon and/or boobies.

I'm going to Rx that you double your intake of both just to be safe.

Nice vid hunter.

How long have you had the headaches while lifting? I know a few years ago when I attempted my first 15 rep DL set my head burst. I had trouble with it for a couple of months and then nothing. I may have lost several brain cells, but no pain anymore.

Thanks Storm! Since I got hurt at work and fractured my skull in a bunch of places, 7-8 years ago! Since then I have photosensitivity and a never ending headache! Always, just varies in pain levels. My head can get worse doing nothing, or doing stuff. I just try my best til I can't or don't want to take it anymore. Then give it time to calm down

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
