5 sets @ 250 x 3 PR ...vids on first and final sets. Got all reps again but think I've reached the point I'll be lucky to get 3 reps on any sets coming up, but we'll see. Great day and PRs for all sets of work!!!

280x 1 PR
290x 1 PR ...vid. I felt dumb for not takin a vid on 280 and wasn't sure I'd get 290, but glad I turned the vid on!
The Ram is an awesome device!!! I can't wait til I'm better with my liftoff in it and get used to using it more! Everything up to 280 was very smooth on the way down with slight pause then exploded up! 290 was more touch and go and I had to really fight to lock out but I got it!

Thanks Lisa! Yea kids pretty cute, but I'm a little bias! The Ram is new, I just got it a week or so ago.

Congrats on all the PR's Jay!! Seems like they just keep rolling in

I'm too lazy to look it up. What's the purpose of the Ram? Just to allow you to work with heavier weights and that will transfer back to your raw bench?

Thanks Rich! Been a very good week for me, week two of my bulk...so maybe it's that?
It serves a few purposes. It keeps your body in proper bench position to help prevent injuries. Steve uses a slingshot for that purpose, protecting his shoulders.
It helps you overload, about 10% of your max, but everyone's different.
It helps you get used to holding, moving and locking out more weight. I guess it's close to board presses with a full range of motion. It gives you a little spring action at the bottom.
I'm no expert but that's pretty much the stuff I know. Smarter people can chime in if they want
