Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it greatly! Everyone's confidence in me has motivated me to keep my head up although I doubt myself a lot!
My knees are feeling good! After squatting the other day I had very minor discomfort, so think that's a non issue for this weekend !
Got a pain in my upper back shoulder blade area from either sleeping wrong or from cardio. But I actually sleep 3+ hours without waking, and had cardio....so injury or pain was worth it !
I set some goals for this meet and figured I'd share.

#1 Have fun!
Even if my head is bad and I do poorly, think this will be easy to accomplish!
#2 Learn as much as possible!
2 long car rides with Steve and 2 days with him, fellow MABers and other powerlifters, think even with my sh!t memory I'll learn a ton!
#3 Make weight!
I'm right at 198 give or take a lb ish or two! Being my first meet, everyone has said not to worry about this! For the most part I have relaxed and ate whatever I wanted, but I still want to make 198 class as lifting in the 220 class will just bum me out. Although I doubt it'll matter cause no matter what class I lift in I'm sure I'll place last. I originally wanted to at least not finish last, but seems its a given now in either class
#4 Get a 1000lb total!
Steve and many of you still have faith in me to reach this, I'm thinking it's very unlikely! If I had done that 275 the other day with ease, I'd think I'd still maybe have a shot. But we'll see how the day goes ! Most of you have said that there will be other meets, or this is your first getting a certain total doesn't matter. While this is true, I feel it doesn't apply to me because of my head. This very well could be my only meet ever. Regardless of how much I love powerlifting, the competing side might prove way too much for my head! In fact I'm betting it will be! So this being the case it was important to me to hit that 1000 total! Thought I could do it 2 months ago, but the long layoff and pains or injuries have placed a ton of doubt in my head. But I'm going to trust and do what Steve says. If that means only going for 800 ok, if it means more ok. I trust his knowledge and I'm going to try and set aside my doubts as much as possible, and of course I'll do my best
#5 Get vids of my lifts and other MABers
Should be one of the easier goals to accomplish! The hard part will be not putting my fist through the monitor while waiting 17hours to load my vids onto youtubes!!
#6 Be proud of whatever I do!
This might be the hardest one of all to accomplish! I don't think of myself overall as a person who puts himself down. I might not always be a positive person, but normally I'm proud of what I do and have done! In the last year I've completely changed myself inside and out! Dropping a lot of fat, gaining muscle, being the strongest I've ever been in my life...all good things! These last 2 months have sucked and have shot my confidence into the ground! I need to move past this and be proud of whatever I do at this meet!
#6 After the meet rest and GET BACK AT IT!!!
Rest up for however long it takes, set new goals, and start smashing the livin F outta the iron!

If it makes you feel any better, I placed last in my class at my last meet.

I also think just being in the presence of a legend like Steve will inspire you to erase any doubts from your mind and make a big push(and pull) for that 1000 lbs.

I'll be thinking of all of you this weekend.
