Thanks everyone.
Went and gave blood again this morning. Like an idiot I forgot that I should have eaten something, but since I didn't, I passed out !
Then saw my regular doc, got some X-rays taken. He said my knees look great, no bone on bone crap. So could be tendinitis or some ligament damage, but he didn't see anything bad. He told me to avoid any high impact stuff this week along with taking 6 ibuprofen per day spread out. He said do that for 5 days and if I'm still having problems come back and he'll send me to someone else. So hoping the drugs will work ! Glad it wasn't something really bad, or from what he saw anyhow. So more ass planting I shall do!

So glad it's not anything really bad with the knees. Fingers crossed that they recover quickly.

Thanks Randy, OR, Marvin! Seems like it's nothing bad, hopefully I'll be good to go next week with some lighter deads and squats! Meets coming soon so I need to at minimum get some form work done on both so I'm not all outta wack come game time

Ibuprofen is magic, when you need it. I found it was, anyway.

My knees have also become achy this past week! I am thinking I maybe wasn't quite ready for heavy singles like I did. Maybe you just went too heavy too fast like I did? At any rate, lets hope your knees finally start co-operating this week!

Good to hear it's not out to pasture for you yet Jay! You haven't even reached geezer status yet!

I've never passed out from donating blood, but I have got light headed and had to lie down a couple of times. No big deal lol
