Update
Evidentially something is still high in my blood work, and I have to go give blood again and stay at my current dose. Then go and get checked again in mid June. This F'ing sucks!!! I've been feeling way more tired lately, energy and sleep have been in the tank! At the normal dose I felt good, since they lowered it I've felt worse. So no idea what the F is going on. Since I've got to go give blood again I'm not lifting today, which is fine cause I feel like a zombie anyhow.

Hang in there Jay. Everything seems to happen for a reason, and I hope they can find a happy middle ground soon. Sort of seems like the situation Babs is in.

I can't recall why they lowered it but I assume there was a valid reason (since I can't remember what you mentioned about it) otherwise they've just made things worse for you; were there issues with the blood-work prior to them lowering the dose?

Thanks Super Jim & Babs! Hard to piss and moan when you both go through hell! But yea I'm doing it! Just seems my doc is all about numbers and how I'm feeling or reacting doesn't matter! I'm more pissed off that it seems my training up to the meet will be filled with screwing with my body! Hard to be consistent and make gains, or keep what I've got for that matter when they're adjusting crap all the time. Obviously I don't want to be doing something that'll affect me negatively for the long term. But seems what I'm feeling doesn't matter!
Babs, I had high red blood cells, nothing drastic according to the nurse, just a little higher than he'd (my endo) would like. That's why they lowered my dose. And since I've been on the lower dose, I've been more moody, sleep has been an average of 3-4 hours a night, normally waking 1-2 times in that time frame. So because if that, or on top of that my energy is in the tank. Halfway through an hour workout I'm toast! Getting my day started takes hours, before I even feel awake or semi normal. I'm like a zombie throughout the day.
I'm just pissed off! F it I'm lifting!

I hope they did a secondary test a few months later rather than just basing all their theories on that one test that showed the higher count.

I fully understand what you mean about taking meds that will or may affect something that you're currently doing; I went through the same dilemma during the degree, fortunately for me, I was in a position to wait for about 3 weeks before I started a new med...thankfully, I did wait, it kept me awake for 4 days...at which point in time it was declared I was allergic to it, as it screwed with my CNS.

With the headaches, you really could do without all the extra added sleep disturbances and lethargy as well.

Oh oh, a furious rage session coming up!

Other than talking to the Doc or getting a different one, not sure tho if you've considered all the options. I think tho he should be taking into consideration how you feel as it is common sense, but some Docs do not possess any.

Done! 25 minutes total, and I was beat! Not that I had any energy to start, but I was and still am pissed off!!! Was going to do some more sets and get some more work in, but I felt like crap head to toe. My head is very bad now, so beyond taking care of my boy and giving blood later, I'm not doing a F'ing thing!!!

And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
