I have done a couple different things if things aren't going my way in the gym. First is to just bail on the day and go outside to play instead. If that doesn't work, I'll switch up from going heavy to going light and rep out or vice versa. Or I'll just do a different exercise altogether and set a "PR" on something I almost never do. Or I just work on hitting a "perfect" rep with something medium heavy. Whatever it is, I just try to leave the workout on a positive note.

Sometimes all you can do is keep plugging away, but I find if I can leave on a high note, coming back next time is easier.

Thanks guys. I got really sick, having to call off work and be bed ridden since Sunday. Today is the first day I feel normal, no throat hurting, etc.. my stomach still is iffy but what's a little wet poo lol.
