There are a lot of conditioning tools that won't beat up your feet. It's just a matter of "wanting to do it."

When I broke my ankle in high school I recall being able to still do stuff like the elliptical and upright bike pretty much pain free, and rowing is a no-brainer as well

Start small and easy. A couple minutes here and there and just keep adding to it. You'll be where you want to go in no time.

Rock on.

Yep!

And/or get a kettlebell and start swinging, little foot involvement for that as well.

Thanks everyone. I woke up today, didn't get 8 hrs of sleep but I'm not terribly tired.. waiting on cable people to come out here to see why I'm having so many problems with it and then I'll go lift afterwards.

Palmer, welcome and thanks.. Same here .

I didn't wake up with my shoulder aching so that's always good. I haven't had much/any chest work this week nor any rows so I'd like to do some of those and some squats.. I don't know, I'm going to go by feel..

If shoulder feels off I'll just stop and do some rows and then squats and legs.. if I can do chest I'll do bench, bb row, squats.. We'll see.

Crappy session again. I did a bit of mobility and stretching my shoulder and it seemed to help a little. My bench form has gone downhill.. I'm not sure what it is.

All of the weights felt really heavy and I didn't feel like I was doing anything right. I was giving all I had and my performance reminds me of someone that comes into the gym and just goes through the motions. I really hope things bounce back and I start progressing and feeling fresh or it is going to be hard to keep coming into the gym with poor performance.

Bench - 205x5, 205x5, 205x8 - Down from 2 weeks ago, shoulder was a little tender, I wanted to go up to at least 215 like 2 weeks ago but hopefully I can get my pressing back.

BB Rows - 225x5, 225x5, 225x5 - 225 was really heavy, the rows were slow and I was giving it all I had. It felt like 315 I was holding, my back was rounding and I felt like I was about to snap in half.

I tried to squat after this, put on 135 and it just didn't feel right, I was leaning forward and I couldn't hit depth.. I'm not sure why.

So to finish on a crappy week I finally got another article out;

We all know treadmills and cardio sucks, but does cardio have some benefits? Find out here!

Great work Cutty! I know you're disappointed and pissed at how your workout and workouts have been lately. You've got some injuries, you're in a new and overall crappy situation, a more physical job, and your stress is very high. All these things prevent good workouts! And the fact that you're still going in there and giving it your all is huge! That dedication and desire to push on no matter what is why you'll succeed. Stick with it and you'll be smashing your goals soon!!!
