I have always found hack squats to be very difficult, which is why I can appreciate how tough yours were. many times, doing difficult variations will pay off well when it comes time to do the main lift. You never really know tho how far you will go with them.

Bench started off shady but it pulled out. My bench will exceed my rows soon, I'm doing my best to get my back stronger, I understand it'd be ideal to be able to row as much as you press. Rows are definitely the reason why I get so gassed.

DB Rows gas me even faster. Steve has a pair named Big Bertha.

I have never really heard of the bench/row comparison. I guess tho it all depends on form such as body english, etc.
