Back isn't as bad as expected and is already freeing up nicely, skipped today as there was no need to be a hero and make it bad again.
Plan for next week before I have the back a tweak was to test out the 1rep maxes then take a week off, am thinking I'll most likely enjoy a two week break and then come back into another cycle of korte, this time I will start off the volume phase with approximately the numbers from week 2 of this cycle, so that should lead to a week4 increase of about 10kg for 5*5, not earth shattering, but steady progress. Will make one change, push press is out and strict press in so overhead numbers well be lower.
Have a deadlift only meet at the end of August and a bench only meet at end of September, don't think I'll bother with peaking or even trying to make the 90kg class, I'll just Train away and eat clean enough and see where I land come game time.
Will be watching out for updates on team MAB this weekend!!

Taking 2 weeks off is a tough call as I am sure the "itch" to lift will be strong. I also like the relaxed, the cards will fall where they'll fall atmosphere as far as meet prep is concerned. I think its pretty cool to have a deadlift only meet - none of those around here.

I like the way you analyze progress. It's tough when you always want to push the envelope, but rep gains are easily as good as weight gains when you're at the level you are at.
