Could tell how pumped you were after the lift Alan. I also think it would be white lighted as I didn't see any downward motion at all. Really outstanding press and a big congratz on the Herculean effort. It's also pretty exciting to know you have all that strength even when not fully tight or arched. You just seem to be a natural bencher.

Great stuff man! Bench is really coming along. 182.5 for squat and I will be very happy with
how much you have gained on the program. Not that you missing it would be letting me. no pressure like.

The Road to 600
30 May 2013

Squat Max Test Day
60kg x 8
80kg x 8
100kg x 5
115kg x 3
130kg x 1
145kg x 1
Belt on
160kg x 1
170kg x 1
177.5kg x 1
182.5kg x 0 boohiss!

No too disheartened that I missed the 182.5kg its not far away. I just need to get more aggressive and speed out of the hole.
That is always been my sticking point. Was a nice battle on the 177.5kg to get through it. Maybe I should have tried a 180kg instead of the 182.5kg effort - but I did really want a 400lb squat at 200lbs bodyweight , that will happen after the next 8 weeks training cycle for sure.
All in all, happy at how my squats played out over the last 8 weeks , up 12.5kgs from the nationals in March , ill bank it and build on it.

Video below of the fallout from today
Weights are 160kg / 352lbs , then 170kg / 375lbs and finally the 177.5kg / 390lb lift.
Put in the 182.5kg /400lbs fail in case you guys can see something different than the effort before.
I think its the same sticking point but interested to see/hear other opinions.
