The Road to 600
21May 2013

Deadlifts
60kg x 10
100kg x 5
140kg x 3
160kg x 1
180kg x 1
200kg x 1
210kg x 1 – 2singles
215kg x 1 – 1singles and 1 aborted effort
130kg x 3 – 5sets

Pendlay Row
60kg x 10
90kg x 5
100kg x 3 – 5sets

Pull Ups
BW x 5 - 10sets
done throughout the session

Notes
pity about the planned doubles at 210kg, happy enough to get 2 pulls at 210kg in and a slow battle at 215kg
no hypers today(never saw the machine till the end!) so did lots of pull ups

Aside
the last two days i have been in a local gym in my hometown, didnt say much yesterday as i wanted to check with the owner before i posted about it.
its a really good gym, called Olympia - ill be trying to get in here more often.
proper set up, proper training the owner Giani is a really decent fella who was fully of help and advice
Also i believe he came fifth in the 2013 IFBB European Men's Championships held in Moldova.
not sure if there are many people from ireland that read my log but if you are , you should check out their facebook page here

Wish all gym owners were like Giani - tell him well done and I wish his gym all the success in the world.

Equally decent pulls Alan - inching ever so close to 500 and I hope your form progresses right along side.

50 pull-ups rock. Your really seem to be hitting your stride.

Yeah, that will be my go to gym anytime I miss a lunchtime session, proper attitude in there, really liked the fact that after I pulled 210kg no one batted an eyelid, which is only right, In the grand scheme it's not that heavy.
I'd rather be the weak fella surrounded by beasts in a gym, only one way to go from there

Nice work Alan. Pressing and pulls are impressive.

Cool gym too. Have to get over to Ireland one of these days to check out the Emerald Isle. Probably pass right by that gym for the pub next door though.
