Looking all set bud! How many are going through to euros this year? The nationals look huge this year. I may have to take 3rd attempts to get through afterall.

I hope the click is just a bit of old age creeping up on you, and not an issue of some sort. Looks like you are as well prepared as could be, as Big Al is a master at that.

Hopefully that click was nothing to worry about. Strong work and a great game plan.

I believe you will get the invite once you hit the qualifying total

Thanks Jim, it's all cleared up so must be that alright!!
Al has me focused on next month's meet, this one is about hitting 550 total in the last amount of lifts as possible

Meet was a disaster today,
Opened at 180 for squat and then did 190kg for second (meet pr), passed third as game plan was to hit 550 total in minimum lifts,
All went south from here.
Bombed on bench with what should have been a routine 130kg bench,
Out of meet

Did the pulls but that went to pot too, opened 225 and failed my pr of 235kg twice.

Not a happy camper tonight.
Will probably take next week off and figure out where to go from here
Don't worry I won't do anything drastic (like take up crossfit)

Here is a pic of my 190kg squat

Your too good of powerlifter to let this stew in your mind for long. Learn from it and then forget it as you continue on to train and reach that 600. It will come, and likely sooner than you think.

Hard luck today man! Very unlucky with that bench. May be worth asking about the euros, you have hit those numbers before, maybe if the class isn't packed out they will stick you in. Would be worth a shot as you have that 600 in you on the right day. Today just went badly, it happens from time to time. Gutted for you bud, but you will bounce back. Great chatting to you today!
