So you did nice high volume at a relatively moderate intensity and you break a PR on a whim. Who knew that base building could be successful?

To be fair I wasn't far off a 215kg pull in the meet last November, that said I was almost 100kg that day, so it's slow progress really, but progress none the less so I'll take out for now, once this next meet is over its 'operation sort out my embarrassing deadlift time'
That said, the recent high volume has worked out well for me

Squat
160kg x 1 2sets

was supposed to stop there but was feeling strong so said feck it and kept going

belt up!

170kg x 1 - 1set
Stop here, form breaking down , today is not the day to push on...
Luckily no issues/pain with the knee

Bench
100kg x 4 5sets

Deadlift
140kg x 3 3sets

Notes
Happy enough with how the week of singles went,
As usual , want more weight on the bar!

Next 3 weeks will be interesting.

It's amazing the difference 10kg's can make. Good work to live to fight another day. I am just as excited about the upcoming weeks!

March 23rd, trying to come down to the 90kg weight class, last two meets I did at the 100kg class
