Tomorrow the getting after it will happen. Took a couple rest days to kinda replenish. I would love to keep on with the CBL, but looking at how I'm adding endurance work to my training, I am not seeing it as conducive to my current goals. To be completely honest, the incident the other day with not being able to lift off 230 was kinda scary. It isn't going to keep me from lifting, no way. It was just not a good feeling. I wasn't thinking about the weight, I know I can do that weight, it just did something crazy in my head. I am glad I listened to my body, though.

Tomorrow morning is time for squats. Gonna hit big numbers. Once I get that taken care of, I'm sure all other mental woes will be laid to rest.

Gonna do my working sets with 290 and 330, then I might try and hit a couple heavy doubles at 375 or so. Altering the plan a little, but I wanna push some heavy weight!

Nice hit on the squats. Lots of doubles at 345 is strong work. I really like the Bulgarian ones as a finisher.

No doubles, 2 sets of 6. Still, not bad work The Bulgarians were BRUTAL.

Did that late Saturday night, finishing up right after midnight. Went to work at ten to spend most of the day moving, mixing, and pouring concrete. Then I went home to help dad redo the flower bed in front of the house. The quads and hams are screaming today. Luckily, I got to spend it in the kitchen and at the grill. Haha.

I would wish you a Happy Memorial Day, but this is a somber occasion. We celebrate the freedom we have, but we also remember the sacrifice that our service members have given and are willing to give for said freedom. My dad was a maintenance and munitions guy in the Air Force (enlisted and officer) as well as a rescue swimmer in the Navy in his younger days. IIRC, the majority of his saves were civilian, not military, in the Indian Ocean.

Let us today not only remember those who served on the front lines, but the boys in the rear with the gear that kept them going.
