HOLY CRAP. DEADLIFT NIGHT.

I moved my workout to tonight after work due to inclement weather earlier in the day. I won't do that again. Too many bros and brolitas out tonight.

2 scoops of juggernaut about thirty minutes prior to workout. It tastes less awful when mixed with half the water recommended. Still not great. I started to tweak a little and feel it working about 15 minutes after chugging it. The focus was noticeable tonight and the pump was great. On deadlifts I could definitely feel a HUGE pump in my hamstrings and lower back.

Deadlifts
Warmup: 135/5; 155/5; 185/4
Set 1: 205/5
Set 2: 225/4
Set 3: 245/3

Killed it tonight. I definitely need an increase for next week. I found a bit of motivation in the bro that was doing wall squats right near me. Haha.

Seated shoulder press
Warmup: Bar/8; 65/7; 85/7
Set 1: 105/8
Set 2: 105/7
Set 3:105/3 <--I have no clue what happened. I just couldn't press it again.

Pullups (with assistance; Math is already done)
Set 1: 160/4
Set 2: 160/2
Set 3: 160/3

Dips (All body weight)
Set 1: 10
Set 2: 6
Set 3: 4

Standing calf raises
Set 1: 140/9
Set 2: 140/9
Set 3: 140/7

Good workout tonight, I think. It's nice to surprise myself on some lifts. I'm still enjoying the Juggernaut. I picked up some Melatonin tonight as I have been having trouble sleeping at night. I sleep well, but the actual getting to sleep part sucks. I'm also going to start taking fish oil again to get my fats up.

Dinner tonight: Kung Pao Shrimp/Squid/Chicken/Beef and fried rice. I always get a good dinner

Was it bad enough where you have to increase rest between sets?

Keep hard at it.

Yeah, I did increase rest a little bit, but figured with ramping like I did that was kinda par for the course. It wasn't painful at all, I could just really feel the work happening.

Friday 2-1-2013

Squats
Warmup: Bar/7; 95/7; 115/7; 135/6; 155/5; 185/5
20 Reps at 205 pounds. Ten at a steady pace, 2-3 breaths for reps 11-16, 5-ish for 17-20. Very happy with that. Will increase 10# next week.

Bench
Warmup: Bar/10;65/7; 85/7; 105/7; 135/7

Set 1: 165/8
Set 2: 165/7
Set 3: 165/6

Will do another 10# increase next week.

Pendlay Row
Set 1: 135/8
Set 2: 135/6
Set 3: 135/5

Improvement over last week, but still stuck at 135. There's a lot of time between now and next time, though.

DB Curls
Set 1: 30/10
Set 2: 30/7
Set 3: 30/6

Still falling shy of my goal, but I am one rep closer from two weeks ago. Like I said about the rows, still a lot of time between now and next week.

Didn't have time to train Abs as I had to get to class. Will probably rock those out tonight before bed.

I'm still seeing muscular gains. I believe my waist is shrinking even though I am taking in more calories. I will probably measure at some point tomorrow to see where I am at.

Dinner last night: Beef Ja Jiang Mein (wheat noodles, cabbage, cucumber, beef in a bean curd sauce). "Chinese Spaghetti" as my master refers to it.

Lunch today: Hamburger steak with gravy, mash potatoes with gravy, turnip greens with cornbread and pepper sauce, stuffed eggs, fried chicken livers with ranch.

The Juggernaut HP is a pretty good product. I usually start to feel the tingle about 20 minutes after I take it and I definitely feel the pump on heavy lifts. I still can't stand the taste, but that may be remedied by getting the Crimson Punch flavor next time (also ROLL TIDE). I am going to experiment after I go through this jug of it with an equal amount of weeks off of Juggernaut just to see what differences I see. I am noticing the energy and focus difference only on mornings where I don't get my usual coffee. I am considering giving it a shot on Sunday afternoon between shifts to see how it helps with my focus while working a double.

I look forward to hearing your input, guys, and if I don't see you before then, happy weekend!

That's all that's important. Keep it rolling.

2-4-2013 HEAVY SKWAT DAY

2.5 Scoops of Juggernaut HP. Trying out a little bit higher dose today as my energy felt low. Not much difference. Like I said earlier, I think two scoops is the sweet spot for me as far as this supplement goes. I'm very happy with it still. I'm curious to see how things go when I take time off of it. I'm feeling a lot of blood moving into the muscles I am working and I am getting used to the taste. Still not a fan of that part, though.

Squats
Warmup: 135/7, 155/6, 185/5, 205/8
Working: 225/8/8/6

I've always reacted really well to squats and love doing them. I think I may be undershooting a bit as this was a 30 pound jump and I handled it fairly well.

Close-Grip Bench
Warmup: Bar/10, 65/6, 85/6, 95/8, 105/7 135/6
Working: 155/9/7/7

Still reacting really well with Bench. Again, I think I'm undershooting on the big lifts.

DB Row
50/10/6/7

Bar Curl
75/12/7/6

I've not slept very well the past few days, but things are getting better. Decreasing my caffeine is kinda throwing me off, I think. This morning for breakfast: Hashbrowns, three egg omelet with turkey sausage and cheese, oatmeal with dried fruit and brown sugar, two cups of coffee. About to chow down on some vegetable beef soup. Fried pork tenderloins are onthe menu for tonight as I don't work.
