Well done Hitman! Deads and squats always seem to alternate week 2 week as my fave. I'm just sitting on the fence with them.

Did you mean in your post you will always be doing heavy weight?

Jimbo: The Korte 3x3 program is divided into two 4 week phases, the first being the high volume (though not light weight, it topped out at about 65% of 1RM), the second having a bigger focus on hitting heavy singles.

2 Scoop Juggernaut HP. Good pump in the quads and lower back during warmup sets.

Squats: 2x1 @ 315

Bench: 5x4 @ 145

Deadlift: 3x3 @ 245

Easy lifting today. Energy was a bit down, or I would have hit more on squats.

Today, after class and getting paycheck and running errands, I chilled out at the pool. I had an EXCELLENT time. My back where I couldn't reach with the sunscreen got a little burnt. Sadly, there were no honeys to rub it on there for me, either. I had the place to myself for about an hour. Lifting resumes tomorrow, and I am VERY excited.

So, I've kinda had to fudge with the weights on this program. I'll see how it works, but for right now, I'm planning on progressing on my "light" days as well, due to the fact that I don't care to become stagnant. I also did the week 6 squat weight last week, so, oops? Gonna just roll with it and keep progressing. I've said it before, but I think I underestimate my strength a little bit. I also added in some DB OHP today to help the shoulders get a little stronger.

2 scoops of Juggernaut HP about 15 mins prior to the session. I don't feel the effects as much as I did during the high volume stuff, but it is still there. I always feel a good pump with it.

Squats
Warm-ups: 135x10, 5x165, 4x185, 2x205, 1x225
Working: 3x3@245# (up 20# from last week)

Squats are always good to me

Bench
Warm-ups: 65x7, 95x4, 115x2, 135x1
Working: 5x4@165# (up 20# from last week)
Grip: Reggae, reggae, close, close, reggae.

Bench felt strong. Used some Harbinger wrist wraps today. Not bad, and I liked the support. I'm ordering some KLAs soon as I get done with this and keeping the Harbingers as backups. The old wrist injuries make benching a little tough.

Deathlifts
Warm-ups: 135x5, 185x3, 215x1, 245x1, 275x1, 295x1, 315x1
Working: 3x1@335# (up 20# from last week's heavy day)

Overall, felt like a strong session. Getting a decent tax return, so I plan on 1)paying off the credit card debt, 2) buying a belt, 3) throwing some of it in a regular savings and some in a high-yield savings. I'm looking to buy a new(er) car within the next 18 months, and figure this isn't a bad idea.

Great progression and even a nicer tax refund it sounds like!

I will not bench heavy without wrist wraps. Makes a huge difference for sure.
